La Crosse, Wis. - A two-run homerun by right fielder Ivan Vieitez (Lenoir-Rhyne University) was all the Bullfrogs needed as starter Mike Ellenbest (Saginaw Valley State) picked up his second win in a 3-0 Bullfrogs shut-out. Ellenbest pitched eight solid innings, scattering just three hits, while striking out six. Now, over the past 14 innings pitched, Ellenbest has only allowed one run. Vieitez finished the game 2-3.

A Paul Jacobson (South Dakota State) RBI single in the top of the fifth scored Franco Guardascione (Palm Beach State) giving the Bullfrogs a 3-0 lead. Guardascione, who started his first game as a Green Bay Bullfrog, finished the game 1 for 4.

Ryan Koziol (Gulf Coast State College) also had two hits for the Green Bay Bullfrogs in the victory.

Picking up his third save of the season was Sam Brunner (Dodge City CC). Brunner retired the side 1-2-3 in the bottom of the 9th, striking out two.

Making his Loggers debut was Blake Stevens (Birmingham-Southern). Stevens received his first loss of the season, throwing five innings, striking out five, allowing five hits, and all three runs.
