Growlers Red, White and Boom Night Has Arrived

Kalamazoo, Mich - Baseball fans of Kalamazoo will be excited to learn that the Kalamazoo Growlers will host Red, White and Boom Night on Friday, July 4th at Homer Stryker Field.

This Fourth of July, the Growlers will face off against the Lakeshore Chinooks at 7:35 p.m. Doors will open at 6:35 for fans to enter the field.

Red, White and Boom Night presented by WWMT will be filled will great promotions and giveaways to celebrate our nation's independence which fans in attendance can enjoy, including Kalamazoo's only fireworks show.

To start the night the Growlers will attempt to break the world's highest first pitch record, with the ballgame tradition going sky high. The Growlers along with Walmart-Sam's Club will give away a 51' inch flat screen television to one lucky fan. There will also be a silent auction for fans to bid on the Growlers special edition Fourth of July jerseys and hats.

To conclude the night, a spectacular fireworks display presented by S2 Games will fill the sky after the game. The fireworks display will be the only in Kalamazoo. Fans are encouraged to bring blankets to sit on the field during the show.

Although fans must purchase a game ticket to watch the fireworks at the field, there will be plenty of parking available at Homer Stryker Field along with parking at the adjacent Red Arrow Golf Course lot entry to both lots will be $5.
