Kenosha, WI- The St. Cloud Rox could not get past the pitching of Kenosha's J.D. Nielsen and Garrett McKenzie tonight as the Kingfish defeated the Rox 7-3 at Simmons Field. In all, the Rox tallied just one hit, a two-run home run from Will Craig in the fifth inning to move them to 0-2 in the second half of the season.

Nick McCarty recorded his first loss of the season for the Rox (2-1), throwing the first three innings and giving up one earned run on six hits, before being relieved by Trevor Charpie in the fourth, who allowed one run while striking out five. Tyler Deel then came on in the seventh, throwing the last two innings for the Rox and not allowing a run.
Craig's home run came in the fifth after Boo Vazquez walked, to give him his third homer of the season.
