Bulldogs Sign Jacob Gervais-Chouinard to A.T.O.

HAMILTON, ONT - Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today that the Bulldogs have signed goaltender Jacob Gervais-Chouinard to an Amateur Try-Out Contract. As per club policy, financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Gervais-Chouinard, 21, played 55 games this season for the Sherbrooke Phoenix of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League recording a record of 20-24-7, a 3.36 goals against average, a .895 save percentage and one shutout. The native of Sherbrooke, Quebec played four seasons in the QMJHL with the Phoenix, the Rimouski Oceanic and the Val d'Or Foreurs compiling a record of 76-72-13, a 3.56 goals against average, a .888 save percentage and four shutouts in 182 regular season games.

The Bulldogs' next game is against the Abbotsford Heat at Copps Coliseum tonight at 7:30 p.m. The game will air on Cable 14. All 'Dogs games will be broadcast on Hamilton's Funny 820 (AM 820).
