Aeros Sign Goalie Brian Stewart

Houston, TX - Houston Aeros General Manager Jim Mill announced on Friday the American Hockey League (NHL) club has signed goaltender Brian Stewart to a Professional Tryout Agreement (PTO).

The fourth-year pro has been in the Bakersfield of the ECHL throughout the 2012-13 season. In 40 games with the Condors, Stewart was 11-25-3 with a 3.13 goals against average and a .918 save percentage. The 28-year old has played in 13 AHL games, all with the Adirondack Phantoms from 2009-11. He is 4-7-0 all-time in the AHL, sporting a 3.18 g.a.a and a .889 save percentage.

Houston continues a ten-game home stand at Toyota Center on Friday Mar. 29 at 7:05 p.m. Friday is "Go Green" Night, powered by a Cell Phone drive. As part of going "Green", fans are asked to bring in old cell phones for a Cell Phone Drive. The Aeros will award two tickets for a select future home game for each phone donation (up to ten per person). Grand Rapids will return to Toyota Center on Tuesday, Apr. 2 at 7:05 p.m.
