Worcester Sharks Add Forward Dane Walters

WORCESTER, MA - Worcester Sharks General Manager Wayne Thomas announced today that the Worcester Sharks have signed forward Dane Walters to an amateur tryout agreement (ATO). Per club policy, terms of the deal were not announced.

The 5-11, 190lbs forward and native of St. Paul, Minnesota was the captain of the Western Michigan University Bulldogs and was named the CCHA's Best Defensive Forward this season. The 24-year-old recorded 12 goals, 13 assists, and 25 points in 38 games in 2012-13.

Walters accumulated 83 points (39-44-83) in 144 career games with the Broncos over four seasons and was a teammate of Matt Tennyson. Dane will wear #46 for the Worcester Sharks and began practicing with the club on Friday.
