Face off against Cancer and Post-Game Skate with Players to Take Place Saturday

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that the 2013 Face Off Against Cancer presented by Lourdes and annual post-game skate with the players will take place on Saturday, March 30 as the B-Sens host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7:05 p.m.

Fans attending the game are encouraged to visit the various cancer awareness displays and meet the 2013 American Cancer Society Relay for Life teams that will be present throughout the arena concourse. Many teams will features raffles and prizes to encourage donations.

The game also features a ceremonial first puck drop by Cindi Lee, a longtime Relay for Life participant, and a "Survivors Lap" will take place during the first intermission. Fans who wish to participate in the Survivors Lap will enter the ice from the Sect. 26 corner.

In the past seven years that the B-Sens and Lourdes have teamed for the Face Off Against Cancer they have successfully raised over $70,000 for cancer research.

Also Saturday there will be a post-game skate with the B-Sens players. Fans who wish to skate must bring their own skates. For fans who do not wish to skate, they will be able to access a carpeted area on-ice to obtain player autographs and photos. All fans participating, both skating and non-skating, must enter the ice from the Sect. 26 corner.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets to the game are $19 for side and $18 for end seats. Fans can purchase tickets through the B-Sens executive office by calling (607) 722-SENS (7367), the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena box office, and all Ticketmaster outlets.
