Preds Recall Smith, Ads Sign Winchester to Another PTO

Milwaukee, WI- Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Craig Smith from his conditioning assignment with Milwaukee. In addition, the Admirals announced today that the team has signed forward Brad Winchester to another Professional Try-Out Contract (PTO). His original PTO had expired after the team's game on Wednesday night.

Smith posted five points (1g-4a) in four games during his week with the Admirals. He has nine points (3g-9a) in 30 games this season for Nashville, with all but one of those points (an assist) coming in his last 15 games played.

Winchester has 20 points on eight goals and 12 assists in 25 games with Milwaukee, including a goal in five of his past seven contests. A Madison native and a University of Wisconsin alum, Winchester is a veteran of over 390 NHL games.

The Ads play at Rockford tonight at 7:05 pm and at Chicago Saturday at 7pm. The team will then rematch in Rockford Tuesday night at 7:05 pm before returning home for a home bout against those same IceHogs.
