Laredo will look to win their second straight game and improve on their CHL-leading 36 points tonight.
The Bucks snapped their three game losing streak (0-2-1) Wednesday night with a 4-1 home win over Austin, in which four different players scored goals for Laredo. Adam Rivet, Jeff Genovy, Andrew Desjardins, and Alex Penner (empty net) notched goals for the Bucks in the win. Dustin Traylen picked up his 11th win of the season in net, stopping 25 of 26 Ice Bats shots.
Jeff Bes, who picked up an assist in Wednesday's win, is tied for third in the CHL in scoring with 36 points (14-22=36), while Chris Korchinski is 13th in the league with 26 points (10-16=26).
Last night the Rayz beat Southwest Division leading Arizona 5-2 at the American Bank Center. Corpus Christi goaltender Jason Tapp stopped a CHL-season high 58 shots in net to pick up the win. The Rayz were outshot by the Sundogs 60-26 and came away with the win.
Justin Quennville scored two goals, with Kevin Watters and Jon Jankus each picked up a goal and an assist to lead the Rayz.
Quenville leads Corpus in scoring with 21 points (10-11=21), with Brent Howarth second with 20 points (9-11=20).
Laredo is also looking to snap their two-game losing streak to Corpus. After starting out 3-0 against the Rayz this season, the Bucks have dropped two straight versus their division opponent. December 8th the Bucks could not hold a 1-0 third period lead in falling 3-2, while last Saturday Laredo fell in Corpus 4-2. Traylen has started in net in all five games against the Rayz this season, picking up two shutouts in October against the club.
After tonight's game the Bucks are off until next Thursday when they will travel to face the Odessa Jackalopes, before hosting Austin next Friday and Saturday.

**Bucks Notes**
*Steve Weidlich will be out at least six weeks due to an injury in Wednesday's game against Austin. Weidlich has played in just 11 of the Bucks 25 games this season due to injury.
**The Bucks practiced in Corpus Christi Thursday due to ice not being available at the LEC.
* The Bucks are 7-3-2 on the road this season, however after starting 6-0 away from the LEC, the Bucks are 1-3-2 in their last six road contests.
* The Bucks have had plenty of success against fellow Southern Conference teams, going 17-3-1, including 10-2 against Southeast Division foes. Both divisional losses have come against the Rayz.
* The second period has been a key one for the Bucks. When they lead after two periods they are 12-1-1 this season, conversely when they trail after two they are 1-5. The Bucks only regulation loss this season when leading after two periods was December 1st against the Rayz 3-2.
* The Bucks are 6-3-2 in one-goal games this season, including 1-1 against the Rayz.
