Bruins announce Dunkin' Donuts warmup jersey sale

The Providence Bruins announced today that they will begin the sale of their Dunkin' Donuts warm-up jerseys, on the team website, www.providencebruins.com, on Wednesday, March 16. The jerseys are the actual ones worn by the Bruins' players during the warm-up period at each home game this season. The sale is available only on the Bruins' website, and will run through 12:00 noon on Friday, March 25. Proceeds from the sale will be donated to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence. The donations will be presented by the Providence Bruins and Dunkin' Donuts.

"This is our third season in raising monies for Hasbro Children's Hospital with our Dunkin' Donuts warmup jerseys, said Bruins Co-President Matt Poore. "The Providence Bruins this season have focused the majority of our fund-raising efforts to help Hasbro Children's Hospital. This event is the culmination of a successful fund-raising season."

"Dunkin' Donuts is proud to partner with the Providence Bruins to benefit patients at Hasbro Children's Hospital," said Joe Prazeres, Dunkin' Donuts franchisee and chairman of the Providence market advertising committee. "Through the Dunkin' Donuts Community Partnership, it is our goal to raise awareness and support for non-profit organizations throughout the market, and are confident our loyal customers and Providence Bruins fans will join us in this cause."

Fans who purchase jerseys will be contacted directly by the Providence Bruins.

The Bruins return to action on Friday, March 18 at 7:05 p.m., when they host the Lowell Lock Monsters. The Bruins also host the Manchester Monarchs on Sunday, March 20 at 4:05 p.m.

Tickets for March 18 and 20, as well as all regular season Providence Bruins games, are available online at www.providencebruins.com, all TicketMaster outlets (401-331-2211 or 508/617-931-2000) and the Dunkin' Donuts Center Providence box office. Information on season ticket plans can be obtained by calling the P-Bruins ticket office at (401) 273-5000 or by logging on to the team website.
