Falcons Recall Justin Kelly

Springfield, Mass. – The Springfield Falcons, American Hockey League affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning, today announced that the club has recalled right wing Justin Kelly from the Adirondack Frostbite of the United Hockey League (UHL).

Kelly has posted 55 points (20g, 35a) in 47 games with Adirondack this season. The native of Abbottsford, British Columbia participated in training camp with the Falcons in October and skated in one preseason game with the team. Kelly will turn 24 on Thursday.

As a rookie last season, Kelly recorded nine points (4g, 5a) in 34 games with the AHL's Lowell Lock Monsters. He made his AHL debut with Lowell against the Falcons on Jan. 31, 2004. The 6-4, 186-pound forward also posted 23 points (12g, 11a) in 31 games with the Las Vegas Wranglers to earn a spot in the 2004 ECHL All-Star Game.

Kelly will join the Falcons in time for the club's game against the Hershey Bears at the Springfield Civic Center on Wednesday.
