
Ducks blank Aeros 3-0 behind Bryzgalov

HOUSTON, TX - Stanislav Chistov scored two goals and Ilya Bryzgalov made 24 saves, as the Cincinnati Gardens beat the Houston Aeros, 3-0, Monday from the Toyota Center.
Joel Perrault also scored and Zenon Konopka had two assists for the Ducks, who moved four points ahead of Houston for third place in the West Division.
Bryzgalov, stopped eight shots in the first period, four shots in the second and 12 more in the third en route to his fourth shutout of the season.
Josh Harding surrendered all three goals before being pulled in favor of Mike Smith in the second period for Houston, which snapped a four-game home winning streak.
The Ducks play Chicago Friday at 7:35 p.m. at Cincinnati Gardens.
