
Amerks to practice at HSBC

BUFFALO, N.Y. (March 14, 2005) -- The Buffalo Sabres and Rochester Americans today announced the AHL-leading Amerks will practice on the newly installed blue ice at HSBC Arena on Tuesday, March 15 at 11:00 am. The Amerks will play a game at the HSBC Arena vs. the Cleveland Barons this Sunday, March 20 at 5:05 pm.
Head coach Randy Cunneyworth will be available to the media immediately following practice in the media room at HSBC Arena. Upon the completion of Cunneyworth's availability, the locker room will be open to the media for player interviews.
Rochester became the first team in the AHL to secure a playoff spot yesterday when they gained one point in a shootout loss to Syracuse. Currently, the Amerks lead the AHL with a 45-11-4-6 record.
The Americans will also play the St. John's Maple Leafs at HSBC Arena on Sunday, April 3 at 5:05 pm.
