Brodin in Frontier League Home Run Derby

LONDON, ONTARIO - London first baseman, Joash Brodin is the Rippers' selection for the 2012 State Farm Home Run Derby.
Each team supplied their leading home run hitter who made the All-Star team to participate in the Home Run Derby.
Brodin has 7 long balls this season.
Each hitter in the Derby will be paired with a group and will have a representative from that group on the field with them. The top home run hitter will win $1,000 for themselves as well as for the group with which they are partnered.
The top home run hitter will also receive six Prairie Sticks bats, while the runner-up will receive three bats.
The 2012 State Farm Home Run Derby takes place July 10th at 7:30pm in Normal, Illinois at The Corn Crib.
The 2012 State Farm All-Star Game, featuring London's Joash Brodin, Jim Vahalik, Jamie Richmond and Yohan Gonzalez, will be played July 11th at 7:30pm.
The game will be available to view LIVE online by going to stlsportsproduction.com and clicking the live telecasts tab and then Frontier League All-Star Game.
The London Rippers will begin the second half of the year on July 13th in Windy City against the ThunderBolts.
London's first home series starts July 16th against the Southern Illinois Miners.
