Brewers' Peralta to Start in Beloit

BELOIT, Wisc. - The Beloit Snappers open up a four game series against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, at Pohlman Field on Friday. Brewers' pitcher Wily Peralta is scheduled to make the start for the Rattlers on Saturday, July 11th.
Peralta, the Dominican Republic native, has been sidelined because of a strained left oblique since May 23rd. So far this season for Milwaukee, he is 1-5 with 63 hits allowed, 24 earned runs, and 35 strikeouts in 54.0 innings pitched in nine games.
Game time on Saturday is 7:00 PM. Gates open at 6:00 PM. Saturday is also our Matt Olson Bobblehead giveaway, courtesy of TruGreen. The giveaway is the day before the 2013 Snapper plays in the MLB Futures game in Cincinnati on Sunday at 2:00 PM CST on MLB Network.
