Bowie Baysox Announce Player Move

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce a roster move today. RHP Alfredo Simon has been assigned to Bowie on a Major League rehab Assignment. With the moves, the Baysox have 23 active players on their 24-man roster.

Simon made three starts with Bowie earlier in the season as part of a Major League rehab assignment and went 1-0 with a 3.38 ERA while striking out 17 batters in 16 innings of work. In five appearances with the Baltimore Orioles, Simon was 1-1 with a 3.14 ERA before being placed on the Disabled List.
