
Booyah Head to Fond du Lac

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. - The Green Bay Booyah are headed to Herr-Baker Field to take on the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders on Sunday.
The two teams played a close game last night at Capital Credit Union Park, but it was the Dock Spiders who emerged victorious after the Booyah were unable to plate the winning run that was left stranded at second base. It was a 3-2 loss for Green Bay.
Today, the Booyah will give the nod to Mykel Page (Southern). The right-handed pitcher is 2-1 with a 1.03 ERA. He has hurled 26.1 innings, allowing 17 hits, three runs, 11 walks and has punched out another 11. Opponents are hitting .189 against him.
The Dock Spiders will turn to Austin Sachen. He has yet to record a decision and has a 6.58 ERA. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 pm
Entering today's game, the Booyah at 7-5 sit in second place of the Great Lakes West in the second half, 2.5 games back of the Dock Spiders. Following the game, the Booyah will rest for three days as we approach the All-Star Break.
The Booyah will return to Capital Credit Union Park on Monday, July 26 for a bout against the Wisconsin Woodchucks. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 pm. It will be Free Hot Dogs Monday, presented by Festival Foods. Free hot dogs for the first 90 minutes after gates open, limit two hot dogs per person, per trip.
