
Booyah Fall for Fourth Time in a Row

Ashwaubenon, WI - The Green Bay Booyah struggled to slow down the Wisconsin Rapids offense on Monday night as they fell 11-5 at home.
The offensive power for the Rafters started in the first two innings as Wisconsin Rapids put up six runs combined through the first two frames. Green bay responded in the bottom of the third inning by putting up three runs to bring the game to within three. In the third, Brady West picked up an RBI off of a single with the bases loaded. Following the West RBI, Blaise Maris bounced a ball towards third and forced a throw home, which went off line and scored two runs for Green Bay.
At the plate, Cooper Morrison led the way by going 2-3 with a run scored. Ali LaPread also picked up two hits on the night, after grabbing two singles in the middle innings. Brady West picked up two RBIs while going 1-3, and Blaise Maris finished 1-4. Logan Rezash also picked up one hit for Green Bay, scoring two times on the night and earning one walk.
On the mound, Tommy Miller earned the loss after going 4.2 innings and allowing seven earned runs for Green Bay. Logan Lee went three innings, giving up five hits and four earned runs in his final inning on the day. Jesse Philp threw a scoreless 1.1 innings and struck out two Rafter hitters, and lowering his ERA to below 11.
Green Bay and Wisconsin Rapids pick back up again tomorrow at 7:05 p.m. at Historic Witter Field. The Booyah have senior right hander Victor Santana on the mound for his second start of the season.
