Blues Re-Sign Nicholas Drazenovic

St. Louis Blues Executive President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has re-signed forward Nicholas Drazenovic (drah-ZEHN-oh-vihk) to a two-way contract.

Drazenovic, 23, played in 58 games for the Blues' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate Peoria Rivermen last season, collecting 39 points (19 goals, 20 assists) along with 40 penalty minutes. The 6-1, 205-pound forward tied for first on the Rivermen with a career-high 19 goals in an injury-shortened season.

Over his three-year professional career he has appeared in 203 professional games, all with the Rivermen. He has recorded 47 goals and 67 assists for 114 points over that stretch. The Prince George, British Columbia native was originally drafted by the Blues in the sixth round, 171st overall, of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
