Admirals Release Schedule of Opponents and Six Guaranteed Home Dates

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals today released their schedule of opponents and six guaranteed home dates for the 2010-11 season.

The following teams will be joining the Admirals in the East Division with the amount of home/road games given and NHL affiliate listed in parenthesis:

Adirondack Phantoms (Philadelphia Flyers): 2/2

Albany Devils (New Jersey Devils): 4/4

Binghamton Senators (Ottawa Senators): 4/4

Charlotte Checkers (Carolina Hurricanes): 6/6

Hershey Bears (Washington Capitals): 4/4

Syracuse Crunch (Anaheim Ducks): 4/4

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (Pittsburgh Penguins): 4/4

Below is the remainder of the 2010-11 schedule of opponents:

Bridgeport Sound Tigers (New York Islanders): 2/2

Hartford Wolf Pack (New York Rangers): 2/2

Manchester Monarchs (Los Angeles Kings): 2/2

Portland Pirates (Buffalo Sabres): 2/2

Springfield Falcons (Columbus Blue Jackets): 2/2

Worcester Sharks (San Jose Sharks): 2/2

In addition, the Admirals released the dates of six guaranteed home games for 2010-11. The Admirals will play at Norfolk Scope Arena on the following dates:

Opponents and start times for these games will be announced when the complete 2010-11 American Hockey League schedule is released later this summer. The 2010-11 AHL schedule begins October 8.
