Houston Aeros Release 2010-11 Opponents

HOUSTON - The Houston Aeros in conjunction with the American Hockey League (AHL) today announced their list of opponents for the upcoming season.

The Aeros will split 12 games with the Western Conference champion Texas Stars as well as 10 contests against both the San Antonio Rampage and the expansion Oklahoma City Barons.

Houston will play eight games against Rockford and six against Chicago, Milwaukee and Peoria to round out the West Division schedule.

The Aeros will face all but one North Division opponent (Rochester) playing Abbotsford, Grand Rapids, Lake Erie and Manitoba four times each as well as a pair of tilts with Hamilton and Toronto. Syracuse will be Houston's only non-conference opponent in 2010-11 as the two clubs play a pair of games.
