Blueliner Landry Returns to Everblades
January 11, 2014 - ECHL (ECHL)
Florida Everblades News Release
Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades announced Saturday that the Tampa Bay Lightning, an NHL affiliate of the club, have reassigned Charles Landry to the team from the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL.
Landry, 22, notched one assist in six appearances to start the season with the Blades before being called up to the Crunch. Through six games he led Florida with a plus-7 rating.
A native of Napierville, Quebec, Landry also suited up for the Blades in 2011-12 and 2012-13, helping to hoist the Kelly Cup during the 2012 playoffs.
In two separate, unrelated transactions, the Blades announced Saturday that the team had signed former captain Ernie Hartlieb to an ECHL contract and that forward Kyle Bonis had been called up to the Charlotte Checkers of the AHL.
The Blades continue a four-game home stand at Germain Arena Saturday when they take on the South Division-leading South Carolina Stingrays at 7:00pm.
Tickets are on sale right now at the Capital Bank Box Office, open Monday-Friday, 10:00am until 6:00pm.
Saturday's rivalry grudge match will be broadcast live online at FloridaEverblades.com and on the Everblades' app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, with a video webcast available through America ONE, the official broadband and mobile broadcaster of the ECHL, at www.americaonesports.com. Pregame coverage will get under way at 6:45pm.
