This is the fifth of 12 meetings between these clubs this season. The Aces hold the advantage in the season series five points to four.

Last night, San Francisco came back to beat Alaska in thrilling fashion, 6-5, in overtime. The Bulls trailed, 3-0, after the first period. They stormed back with five goals in the second, including four in the span of 1:31, to take a 5-4 lead. A late tally by the Aces pushed the contest into extra time. A minute into overtime, Dean Ouellet got one past Gerald Coleman to win it. Jordan Morrison (2), Dale Mitchell (2), and Ouellet (2) were responsible for the Bulls goals. Brett Findlay (2), Mitchell (2), Ouellet, Eriks Sevcenko, Sebastian Stalberg, Riley Brace, Tyler Beskorowany, Morrison, and Kalvin Sagert all registered assists. Beskorowany made 40 saves, earning his 12th win.

With another strong performance yesterday, Morrison continued his hot streak. Over the past 10 games he has compiled 12 points (7g, 5a). He is third on the team in assists (13), tied for third in goals (9), and fourth in points (22). The reliable forward has done particularly well against Alaska this season, totaling four points (3g, 1a) in three games.

Captain Nick Mazzolini, in his fourth season with the Aces, is turning in another good season. He is tied for second on the team in goals (10), and third in assists (14), and points (24).

San Francisco is in sixth place in the Western Conference with 31 points. They are one point ahead of the Utah Grizzlies. Alaska is tied with the Colorado Eagles for second in the Western Conference with 43 points. They are three points up on the Stockton Thunder, and 11 behind the Ontario Reign.

Tonight the Bulls are celebrating LGBT night to help support SF Pride. The Bulls will be wearing specialty jerseys, which will be auctioned off during the game. A portion of the proceeds will go to SF Pride.

San Francisco is back in action next Wednesday, January 15. They'll be taking on the Colorado Eagles. It is the second bobblehead Wednesday game of the season. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Dean Ouellet bobblehead. The game begins at 7:30 pm.
