
Vaive Promoted, Stajcer Reassigned to Hartford

Greenville, SC: Today the Greenville Road Warriors, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers, announced forward Justin Vaive has been loaned to the Hartford Wolf Pack and goaltender Scott Stajcer has been reassigned to Hartford by the Rangers.
Vaive, 24, returns to the AHL after playing in 41 games with San Antonio last year. In 13 games with the Road Warriors, the Buffalo, New York native scored ten goals and eight assists. He also put together the third longest point streak in the ECHL this season. The streak lasted ten games from December 8th to January 3rd. During that span, he scored eight goals and eight assists.
Stajcer, 22, played in eight games with the Road Warriors this season amassing a 4-4-0 record with a 2.89 goals against average and a .910 save percentage. The Rangers 2009 draft pick played in seven games with Hartford prior to his reassignment to Greenville. While with the Wolf Pack, Stajcer started in seven games with a 2-2-0 record, a 2.27 goals against average and a .904 save percentage.
The Road Warriors will be back in action tonight when they host the Evansville Icemen. The game starts at 7:00 p.m. at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. Join the Road Warriors for Furman night! Come out and celebrate Furman University with Furman athletes, professors, alumni, and students.
