LAKEWOOD, NJ - The BlueClaws are turning Law Enforcement Night into a fundraiser for an injured Lakewood Police Officer.

The team announced today that they will donate $3 from every new ticket sold to the June 16th Law Enforcement Night game to Warriors for Wilson, to benefit Lakewood police officer Jonathan Wilson. Wilson was shot on the job on September 24th and is still not back at work.

"Our law enforcement officials here in Lakewood have always been great to the BlueClaws, and this is a way that not only the BlueClaws but the entire community, can give back," said BlueClaws General Manager Geoff Brown. "It's a cause that's close to all of our hearts and we hope to fill the park for Officer Wilson."

Additionally, the BlueClaws will offer "Ticket Amnesty" at the June 16th game. Anyone with an unused ticket to an already completed (as of June 16th) 2010 BlueClaws home game can exchange that ticket for a reserve seat or general admission pass at this game.

Typically, once a game passes, a ticket is no longer valid, but the BlueClaws decided to make a special offer for those fans that missed their game during the first half of the season.

Each ticket must be exchanged in person at the BlueClaws Box Office.

The game will also feature a Horse Webkinz giveaway for the first 2,000 fans 17 & under.

Tickets are available by calling 732-901-7000 or online at BlueClaws.com.

The BlueClaws are in their 10th season of providing affordable, family entertainment at the Jersey Shore. They offer fireworks every Friday. Further, Kids Eat Free at every Sunday and Monday home game while seniors eat free every Tuesday.

The BlueClaws have led the South Atlantic League in attendance in each year of existence.
