LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Four runs in the 2nd inning were all Lexington needed to win Game 2 of a three-game series between the Legends and BlueClaws, 4-1.

With the bases loaded and one run already home, Lexington's leadoff hitter Delino DeShields Jr. ripped a triple over the head of Aaron Altherr who was drawn-in in center field for a 4-0 Lexington lead.

The BlueClaws scored in the 4th inning when Chris Duffy was singled home by Bob Stumpo to cut the lead to 4-1, but Lakewood could not draw any closer the rest of the ballgame. Duffy has hit safely in 12-of-14 games for Lakewood but Wednesday was his first three-hit game of the season. Duffy is hitting .356 after his 3-for-4 night.

The BlueClaws will battle the Legends in Game 2 of their three-game series, Wednesday evening at FirstEnergy Park. Lino Martinez (3-3, 6.79) will start against the SAL's No. 2 strikeout pitcher Nick Tropeano (4-3, 2.94) for Lexington.
