STAT OF THE DAY: Jake Cowan has faced nine batters this season with the bases loaded. The opposition is 0-for-9 against him with the bases loaded. Last night, the Power had two chances with the bases loaded in the 9th against Cowan.

PREVIEW: After a 3-2 win on Tuesday, the Shorebirds look to win their first series since late April (4/24-4/27, Greenville) in the finale against the West Virginia Power. The Shorebirds have 12 games remaining in the first half of the season, all against teams with below .500 records. The Shorebirds last won consecutive games on May 19 and 20.

DELMONICO'S AN ALL-STAR: On Tuesday morning, Nicky Delmonico was named the starting first baseman for the Northern Division in the SAL All-Star Game on June 19 in Charleston, South Carolina. Delmonico is the only Shorebirds player representative. He leads the team in several major statistical categories including: hits (53), RBIs (33), total bases (83), doubles (15) and home runs (5). Delmonico had a 20-game on-base streak earlier this season between April 17 and May 15 when he batted .338.

DAVIES DAY: Zach Davies had all three pitches working on Tuesday and tossed a career long 6.2 innings. He struck out six, one short of his career high, and walked just one. Davies retired the first two batters of all six innings that he worked. In his last three starts (18.0 innings), Davies has allowed just ten hits and four runs.

NARRON PRODUCING RUNS: Connor Narron has seven RBIs in his last four games including an RBI double to deep right in the fourth inning last night. Narron went 3-for-3 last night to boost his batting average to .222, the highest it has been since May 10 (.227). He is 9-for-16 (.562) in his last five games.

SAWYER WITH A 3-GAMER: Wynston Sawyer has hit safely in three straight games, tied for his season long (May 8-12). Sawyer had his first multi-RBI game since May 8 last night.

RESTED PEN: The Shorebirds have used just five total bullpen arms in the last four games.
