
Blue Jays Recall INF Ryan Goins from Bisons

The Toronto Blue Jays today recalled INF RYAN GOINS from the Buffalo Bisons.
GOINS has spent the entire 2013 season with the Bisons and leads all members of the team with 111 games played. The 25-year old has hit .257 (97-377) with 22 doubles, a triple, six home runs and 46 RBI for the Herd. He has scored 42 runs and stolen three bases. Goins has two of the Bisons nine 4-hit games on the season: April 17(2) at Syracuse and June 27 in Gwinnett.
Goins has started 99 of his 111 games at shortstop and made just nine errors for a .980 fielding percentage at the position.
