
Gwinnett Braves Homestand Highlights: August 26-30

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - The Gwinnett Braves return to Coolray Field for the final homestand of the 2013 season on Monday, August 26. The five-game homestand includes a two-game series with the Norfolk Tides, the Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, from August 26-27 and a three-game series with the Durham Bulls, the Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, from August 28-30. The last opportunity to enjoy baseball at Coolray Field in 2013 will feature a bevy of giveaways and promotions.
Gwinnett will open their series with Norfolk on Monday, August 26 at 6:05 PM. Monday is "Kids Eat Free Night," where all kids (ages 12 and under) will receive a voucher good for a free hot dog, bag of chips and a small soda. The series concludes on Tuesday, August 27 at 6:05 PM with "Team Tuesday." All kids (age 12 and under) wearing their youth athletics jerseys will receive a free ticket with the purchase of an Adult ticket (limit one ticket per adult). The first 500 fans through the gates will receive the Fifth Anniversary Season Poster Giveaway. Poster No. 9 in the series features G-Braves' Manager Randy Ready, who will be available for a pre-game autograph session from 5:05 to 5:20 PM.
The series against Durham begins on Wednesday, August 28 at 6:05 PM. Follow along with the action during Baseball Bingo for your chance to win great prizes! Also on "Winning Wednesday," if a G-Braves player hits a grand slam in the fifth inning, one lucky fan will win $5,000!
Thursday's 6:05 PM game is "$3 Thursday" featuring $3 food and drink specials and $3 Lawn Seats. Be here early as the first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive an Evan Gattis Bobblehead sponsored by Coolray Heating and Cooling.
The series concludes on Friday, August 30 at 7:05 PM with "Fan Appreciation Night." Fans will receive either a Fifth Anniversary Season Logo Baseball or a 2013 G-Braves Team Photo, whichever they choose upon entry, courtesy of the Gwinnett Braves! If the G-Braves win the game, one lucky fan will win a 42-inch Flat Screen TV for "Flat Screen Friday!" Following the game, stick around for post-game fireworks, courtesy of WAGA Fox 5 Atlanta!
