LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville Bats released their schedule for the 2014 season on Thursday. The 2014 season will mark both the franchise's 15th year of baseball at Louisville Slugger Field and 15th year as the Triple-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds.

Planned giveaways for 2014 include a commemorative Budweiser beer stein on Opening Night as well as several hats and bobbleheads. Season ticket packages highlighted by these giveaways will be available starting as low as $80.

The Bats' home schedule will begin with Opening Night on Thursday, April 10 against Columbus to start a nine-game opening homestand. There will be a 2:05 p.m. first pitch on Saturday, April 12, the day of Thunder Over Louisville.

There will also be home games on Memorial Day (Monday, May 26 vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre), the night before Independence Day (Thursday, July 3 vs. Indianapolis) and Labor Day (Monday, September 1 vs. Indianapolis).

For 12 Thursdays starting with Opening Night, the hottest spot in Louisville will be the Budweiser $1 beer happy hours on the Overlook Deck at Louisville Slugger Field. The Bats will also continue with postgame fireworks on 10 Fridays starting with April 18. Sundays will again be highlighted by Kids Run the Bases and the Inflatable KidsZone. Mondays will again feature baseball bingo and $1 hot dogs and Pepsi products will be sold at concession stands on Tuesdays. The full list of giveaways and promotions will be announced at a later date.
