This Week in Condorstown:
Want to help save a life? Now you can by giving blood in March at Houchin Community Blood Banks, located at 5901 Truxtun Ave. and 2600 G St. All fans who donate blood to either location in the month of March will receive admission for $1 to the Condors vs. RoadRunners game on March 28th. The Condors Blood Drive Night is sponsored by 107.9 KUZZ. To learn more about being a donor please contact Tracy Hunter at 323-4222.
Wednesday, March 7th: Community Relations Manager Jill Watts will visit her mentee at Wayside Elementary. Watts and her mentee spend quality time together every week to help build strong relationships between adults and kids in our community. Thursday, March 8th: Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd will visit fans at the Child Guidance Clinic, located at 3628 Stockdale Highway, at 8 a.m., to mingle and take photos. The Clinic provides counseling services for children, adolescents and families who reside in Kern County. For more information about this clinic call 322-1021.
Week In Review:
Monday, February 26th: Watts visited Cal State University Bakersfield to talk about her education and career, for a public relations class.
Tuesday, February 27th: The Condors held the Help for the Homeless Canned Food Collection, presented by My TV 45 and 96.9 The Beat. The event brought in 1,500 pounds of canned food on behalf of the Bakersfield Homeless Center.
Wednesday, February 28th: Condors players Josh Liebenow and Steve Rodberg, Account Manager Tim Statezni and Watts visited Eissler Elementary to mingle with kids and sign autographs.
Thursday, March 1st: Watts visited Wayside Elementary for the Reach for Greatness Mentoring Program.
Friday, March 2nd: Condors front office staff members Watts, Jose Rivera, Greg Lowe, Mark Goodwin and Tim Statezni were celebrity readers at Munsey and Virginia Schools and The Richardson Center.

Thursday, March 15th: Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd will be at Houchin Community Blood Bank, located at 5901 Truxtun Ave, to help promote the Condors Blood Drive Month, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. All fans who donate blood during the month of March will receive terrace admission for $1 to the Condors game on March. 28th.
Friday, March 16th: Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd will attend San Lauren Elementary's Jog-A-Thon, from 9-10 a.m., to help promote being healthy and exercising.
Saturday, March 17th: The Condors will battle the Stockton Thunder and present SpongeBob Squarepants and the St. Patrick's Day Jersey Raffle and Auction, courtesy of Bright House Networks, 101.5 KGFM and American Business Machines. SpongeBob Squarepants will be available for photo opportunities throughout the game and all game-worn St. Patrick's Day jerseys will be auctioned off directly after the game. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Kern Adult Literacy Council. Doors open at 6 p.m. Puck drops at 7 p.m.
Just for Kids:
Baby Cal and Colonel Claw'd are looking for kids to join the coolest club in Condorstown for only $20. Membership includes a Kid's Club T-shirt, free admission to the Condors game on Saturday, March 31, membership card, and entry into the Kids Club party with Condors players and exclusive gifts provided by the Bakersfield Californian, Bright House Networks and Wells Fargo Bank.
It's Party Time! Condors Kids Club members not only get to have the most exclusive prizes and access to the Kids Zone all season long, but they get to party down with Condors players for a members only Kids Club Party! This year the Kids Club party will be held at Rollerama West from 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 1. Members will receive free entry, skates, lunch and access to Condors players!
