GREENVILLE, SC - The Greenville Road Warriors announced today that defenseman Blake Parlett has been reassigned to the club by the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League. ~~~~~

The 6-1, 205-pound defenseman has spent most of the season with the affiliate Connecticut Whale of the American Hockey League. Parlett has suited up for 54 games with the Whale, scoring four goals and adding 10 assists for 14 points while logging 34 penalty minutes. This is Parlett's second stint with the Road Warriors this season. During his first reassignment he played seven games and scored one goal and added three assists for four points, and is +3 with four penalty minutes.

Parlett, a second year pro is expected to be in the lineup when the Road Warriors host Gwinnett at 7:35 p.m. at the BI-LO Center.

Mark your calendars! The Road Warriors are back at the BI-LO Center for their next home game on Saturday, March 24 at 7:05 p.m. against the Gwinnett Gladiators.
