Published on January 3, 2013 under Western Hockey League (WHL)
Saskatoon Blades News Release
The Saskatoon Blades look to keep the ball rolling in 2013 as they welcome the Prince Albert Raiders to town tomorrow night!
The Blades are coming off of a 7-2 home win in their last time out, defeating the Medicine Hat Tigers off the strength of a 3-point performance from 20 year old forward Adam Kambeitz.
As mentioned, the Raiders are the team in town and the Blades have their focus on catching Prince Albert in the standings here in the second half. It should also be a heated affair between the two rivals as the two teams meet for the 3rd time in the past 8 days.
Saskatoon will be looking for a measure of revenge too, as they lost the two most recent matchups with Prince Albert.
As a special promotion, it's also Ukrainian Night at the Credit Union Centre! The Blades are proud to present the night which will include great Ukrainian food specials, Ukrainian music and dancers.
It's a big heritage celebration that matches up with what should be a fantastic hockey game. For tickets to the game, go here, but hurry because they're moving quickly!
The Blades also have many other great promotions coming up. Make sure you read all about them below!
