UFC Canada's Tom Wright to Address 8th Annual Special Olympics/Raider Education Fund Breakfast

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - Tom Wright, the current Director of Operations for UFC Canada and former CEO of the Canadian Football League will be the guest speaker at the 8th Annual SaskPower Training for Life Power Breakfast, Tuesday, March 19th at 7:00 AM in the Ches Leach Lounge. Proceeds from the breakfast go to Special Olympics Saskatchewan and the Prince Albert Raider Education Fund.

Wright took over as Director of Operations of UFC Canada in 2010. From2002 &=238211; 2007 he was the CEO of the CFL. In 2009 Wright wrote Jim Ballsillies' relocation application to the NHL to move the Phoenix Coyotes to Winnipeg. Wright has also acted as the President of Adidas of Canada and is a former Chairman of Special Olympics Canada.

The first seven Training for Life Power Breakfasts have featured the likes of Jungle Jim Hunter, George Reed, Jeremy O'Day, Sami Jo Small, Mark Tewksbury, Carla McLeod and Jim Hopson and have all sold out. Over $35,000 has been raised over the first seven breakfasts for both Special Olympics and the Raider Education Fund.

SaskPower is the presenting sponsor of the event with major sponsors Kin Enterprises, AODBT, Mr.Plumber, Conexus Credit Union, Broda Construction, Frank Dunn Toyota, River Park Funeral Chapel and Freedom 55 Financial. Tables of 8 for the event are $225 each and available from committee members. A limited number of individual tickets, which are $30 each are available at the Prince Albert Raiders Office.
