
'Blades get two assigned from AHL

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush along with head coach Gerry Fleming announced today that forward Drew Larman and defenseman Martin Lojek have been reassigned to the team from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.
Larman rejoins the Everblades after skating in 44 games with the Americans where he picked up 15 points (7g, 8a) and 24 penalty minutes. The rookie out of Canton, Michigan began the 2005-06 season with the Everblades going pointless in six games, before earning the call up to Rochester on November 12 where he remained for the rest of the regular season.
Prior to turning pro, Larman spent three seasons at the junior level with the Sarnia Sting and London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League. Last year the 20-year-old split time between Sarnia and London, beginning the year with two goals in 12 games with the Sting before finishing out the campaign by helping lead the Knights to the OHL Championship and a trip to the Memorial Cup by scoring 21 points (11g, 10a) in 58 games regular season games.
Lojek returns to the Everblades lineup after skating in three games during his most recent trip to the AHL. The 20-year-old did not register a point in his most recent stint with the Americans, but overall has tallied a goal and an assist in 15 games with Rochester this year. As an Everblades, Lojek has picked up 14 points (3g, 11a) and 40 PIM in 45 games. The former 4th round draft pick of the Florida Panthers in 2003 scored his first professional goal earlier this season on November 11 at Gwinnett.
Prior to joining the professional ranks, Lojek played three seasons in the OHL with the Brampton Battalion where he compiled 47 points in 201 career games.
