
Everblades first round playoff schedule set

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades have announced their first round playoff schedule in the race for the 2006 Kelly Cup Championship. The Everblades finished the season in second place in the South Division of the American Conference, and will play the third place Greenville Grrrowl in the best-of-five South Division semi-finals. Florida will host games one and two, and if necessary game five. The entire first round schedule is as follows:
Game 1: Friday, April 14 - Greenville at Florida, 7:30 p.m. @ Germain Arena
Game 2: Saturday, April 15 - Greenville at Florida, 7:30 p.m. @ Germain Arena
Game 3: Friday, April 21 - Florida at Greenville, 7:05 p.m. @ The BI-LO Center
Game 4*: Saturday, April 22 - Florida at Greenville, 7:05 p.m. @ The BI-LO Center
Game 5*: Sunday, April 23 - Greenville at Florida, 6:00 p.m. @ Germain Arena
* - If necessary
The Everblades finished the regular season with a 3-2-1 record vs. Greenville, and were 1-1-1 at home vs. Grrrowl while posting a 2-1-0 record at Greenville. The series will be the third time the teams have met in the post-season. In nine previous playoff games, the Everblades are 5-4 vs. Grrrowl. Florida won the second-round best-of-five series vs. Greenville last year 3-games-to-0.
Tickets for playoff games "A" & "B", are on sale now, and can be purchased at the Germain Arena box office, which is open from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
