Blackhawks recall Richmond, assign Wisniewski

The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that defenseman Danny Richmond has been recalled from the Norfolk Admirals while defenseman James Wisniewski has been re-assigned to Norfolk.

Richmond was acquired from the Carolina Hurricanes in a deal that sent defenseman Anton Babchuk to Carolina back on January 20th. Richmond has appeared in 7 games for the Blackhawks this season and has 9 minutes in penalties. Overall, this season, he has appeared in 17 NHL games and has 1 assist and 16 penalty minutes. In the AHL this season, Richmond has played in 63 games scoring 8 goals while adding 19 assists for 27 points with 102 penalty minutes.

James Wisniewski appeared in 19 games for the Blackhawks this season and scored 2 goals while adding 5 assists for 7 points with 36 penalty minutes and had an even plus/minus rating.
