Bisons Offer 'Peanut Reduced Seating' at Select Upcoming Games
June 8, 2015 - International League (IL1)
Buffalo Bisons News Release
The Buffalo Bisons have teamed up with Skeeter Nut Free to offer fans a "Game at the Ballpark with Peanut Reduced Seating at three upcoming games at Coca-Cola Field.
The peanut reduced seating will be available at one game in each of the three remaining months of the Bisons season, Sunday, June 14 against the Charlotte Knights (1:05 p.m.), Wednesday, July 22 against the Syracuse Chiefs (7:05 p.m.) and Saturday, August 29th against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (7:05 p.m.).
At each of the three events, fans with allergy concerns will be able to sit in a special section on the first base side (club level) of Coca-Cola Field. All tickets for these sections must be pre-ordered, to ensure all fans are aware of the food limitations in place in their area.
"The Bisons organization is excited to welcome many fans to the ballpark who might not have been able to attend games in the past because of their food allergies," said Mike Buczkowski, Vice President/General Manager of the Buffalo Bisons. "Our goal has always been to share the Bisons Baseball experience with our entire community and make sure all our fans feel safe while at the ballpark. These games will allow those eager to cheer on their hometown team to fully enjoy Bisons baseball at Coca-Cola Field."
Tickets
Tickets to any of the three 'Night at the ballpark with Peanut Reduced Seating' games are available for only $12 and must be pre-ordered by contacting Bisons account representative Nick Iacona at (716) 846-2211 or niacona@bisons.com.
There is also a special Skeeter Nut Free Ticket Pack available for all three games. For only $17, you receive a game ticket, a Sahlen's hot dog on a peanut-free roll, a Coca-Cola soft drink and Skeeter Nut Free Cookies.
While the Bisons are excited to welcome in fans that might not have previously been able to attend games at Coca-Cola Field, the team would also like to caution those fans with severe peanut allergies that because Coca-Cola Field is an open air facility, there is no way to absolutely guarantee any area of the ballpark is 100% free from peanuts or shells. Every possible effort will be made to ensure that Peanut Reduced Seating will be safe for all fans.
