Today's Game

This afternoon, the Bisons host the RailRiders in the rubber match of their three-game set at Coca-Cola Field (6:05 p.m.). Following last night loss, the Herd has now alternated wins and losses over the last seven games. The Bisons homestand continues tomorrow with the start of a four-game series with Syracuse.

Last Game (SWB 5, BUF 2)

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's C Gary Sanchez had an RBI-double and a two-run home run in the RailRiders' 5-2 win over the Herd on Tuesday. RHP Roberto Hernandez suffered the loss despite retiring seven straight after Sanchez's home run. He allowed three runs on just three hits in five innings of work.

vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (3-2)

With a win today, the Bisons will earn their second series victory over Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this year. The Herd also took three of four from the RailRiders at PNC Field, April 18-21. Buffalo is one game over the .500-mark (81-80) against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at home.

Arnold Leon

RHP Arnold Leon will make his first Bisons' start this afternoon. The righty made his Herd debut in relief last Wednesday and set Buffalo season highs for relievers with four innings pitched and six strikeouts. Leon has only started 69 of his 199 previous professional appearances. The righty opened the season with the Blue Jays and posted a 7.71 ERA in two relief outings for Toronto.

Roster Move

Last night, the Blue Jays recalled LHP Chad Girodo from the Bisons and optioned INF Matt Dominguez to the Herd. Girodo is 2-0 with a 1.04 ERA in six relief appearances for Buffalo this year. This is his second promotion of the season. Dominguez was 0-7 in three games with the Blue Jays since being recalled on April 26.

David Adams

INF David Adams brings a seven-game hit streak into tonight's game. The infielder reached base twice last night with a hit and walk and has now averaged .444 (8-18) since April 24 with three doubles, five RBI and four walks. Adams has reached base safely in 15 of his 17 starts with the Bisons and has a .361on-base pct. on the year.

Bisons Bits

INF Casey Kotchman has driven in a run in four of his last five games. The veteran has reached base in 16 of 19 games this season with a .359 on-base pct...OF Domonic Brown is tied for 4th in the International League in both home runs (4) and RBI (16)...The Bisons have scored 90 runs and given up 90 runs through the first 25 games of the season.

Blue Jays Update

Last night, the Blue Jays (13-15) picked up a dramatic 3-1 win in 10 innings over the Rangers. 1B Justin Smoak was the hero as his solo home run in the 9th tied the game at one and his second blast with of the night coming an inning later for the walk-off victory. Game three of the four-game series between Texas and Toronto is tonight at 7:07 p.m.
