Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (13-11) play the finale of a three-game series against the Pawtucket Red Sox (12-13) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 6-4 walk-off win in 10 innings last night, the Pigs evened the series while improving to 2-2 on what is now a seven-game, North Division homestand. Since April 16, the Pigs have posted an 11-6 since starting the season 2-5... The Paw Sox -- Boston's top affiliate -- lost for the first time in four games at Coca-Cola Park this season. The streaky Sox started the season 2-5, then won seven in a row before going 3-8 over their last 11 affairs.
RHP Zach Eflin (3-0, 2.05) will start for LHV against LHP Brian Johnson (1-2, 2.25).
Today is Education Day #1. First-Pitch is scheduled for 10:35 a.m. this morning.
