Today's Game
Tonight, the Bisons open up a three game series against the Rochester Red Wings at Frontier Field (7:05 p.m.). Buffalo has won five of their last six games following a 3-1 series win over the RailRiders. After this road series with Rochester, the Herd will head home for another three game series with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

The Bisons are 3-3 against the Red Wings this season. Buffalo lost two of their first three against Rochester to open up their season, but took two of three when the Red Wings visited May 29-30. The Bisons (6-3) currently hold a half game lead over Rochester (7-5) for first place in the 2015 Thruway Cup.
Daniel Norris
LHP DANIEL NORRIS will make his 12th start for the Bisons tonight. The lefty suffered his eighth defeat of the season on Wednesday against Gwinnett. Norris allowed six runs (four earned) in 7.0 innings as the Bisons lost 6-2 to the Braves. The Bisons have averaged just 2.4 runs of support in Norris' first 11 starts this season.

All-Star INF MATT HAGUE collected his two more hits yesterday to raise is already IL leading batting average to .340. It was the slugger's Bisons team-leading 32nd multi-hit game of the season. Hague still leads the league in with 105 hits and a .426 on-base pct. He also ranks 3rd in RBI (50) and 4th in slugging pct. (.453).
Melky Mesa
OF MELKY MESA reached base four times last night with a pair of doubles and two walks. The outfielder now has four doubles and five RBI in his last five games. Since July 3, Mesa has averaged .381 (8-21) with four runs scored and three multi-hit performances.
Bisons Bits
INF JONATHAN DIAZ brings a 6-game hit streak into action tonight with a .375 (9-24) average since July 1...Last night marked the first game since June 19th that the Bisons hit multiple home runs in a game...Buffalo is one of two teams in the International League with a team ERA under 3.00. (2.94)...RHP CHAD JENKINS has made 14 straight relief appearances (20.0 IP) without allowing a run.
Blue Jays Update
The Blue Jays (43-42) fell to the White Sox 4-2 in Chicago last night. LHP Mark Buehrle pitched 8.0 innings and gave up four unearned runs. Josh Donaldson and former Bison Chris Colabello each collected an RBI for Toronto. The Blue Jays continue their series with Chicago tonight (8:10 p.m.).
