Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The IronPigs (36-50) return home to play Game 1 of a three-game set -- and Game 1 of a six-game, home-and-home series -- against the fourth-place Pawtucket Red Sox (38-48) at Coca-Cola Park... With a topsy-turvy 10-8 loss in Rochester last night, the Pigs fell three outs short of their first all-time sweep at Frontier Field. Still, the Pigs took the series, 2-1, and have won seven of their last nine games and 11 of their last 16 affairs against North Division opponents. In fact, Lehigh Valley is 15-9 in their last 24 contests after dropping 15 of 18 games from May 24 to June 11... The Paw Sox -- Boston's top affiliate -- have dropped a season-high, eight consecutive games, their longest losing streak since an eight-game skid in 2013 (July 4-11). In addition, the Sox are just 6-18 since June 16 and 20-38 since reaching their high-water mark of 18-10 on May 7... The Pigs and Sox haven't played since the opening series of 2015, when Pawtucket took three-of-four at Coca-Cola Park from April 9-12.

RHP David Buchanan (2-0, 2.53) will start for LHV against RHP Steven Wright (2-3, 3.00).

Tonight is T-Shirt Tuesday, presented by Reichel Funeral Home... First Pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
