The Bulls open a three-game road series against the Charlotte Knights at BB&T Ballpark. Durham is just 5-13 over its last 18 games - after going 18-5 over its previous 23 contests - to fall from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South division to a 4.0-game deficit. Charlotte - the Chicago White Sox top affiliate - has won four straight games (all against Gwinnett), and enters today half a game behind Norfolk for the division lead. The Knights have posted a league-best 27-14 record at home this season.
