Today's Game

This evening, the Bisons will open up a three-game set with the visiting Indianapolis Indians as part of a six-day homestand. The Herd come off of a 5-1 finish to their road trip, where they met and swept the Indians in three games. Buffalo continues the homestand with a four-game weekend series against the Norfolk Tides.

Last Game: BUF 12, LOU 2

With the help of a seven-run third inning, the Bisons put together an all-around solid game to take the 12-2 victory over the Bats. Jordan Patterson led the way for Buffalo's offense as he hit two home runs and drove in six RBI's. Christian Colon and Aristides Aquino each collected an RBI, but it wasn't enough to overcome the strong pitching performances by the Herd.

Indianapolis Indians (3-0)

Buffalo and Indianapolis are meeting for the second, and final, time of the 2019 season. In their previous meeting, the Bisons swept

the Indians as they outscored them 27-9 in the three games. Last season the teams played just twice in Buffalo due to inclement weather in April.

Today's Starter

RHP Sean Reid-Foley takes the mound tonight for Buffalo with his 3-3 record and 6.02 ERA. His previous outting only lasted 3.0 IP where he gave up four runs on three hits, while striking out five. Reid-Foley leads the Bisons pitching staff in innings pitched (64.1), quality starts (4), and strike outs (69) in 2019.

Bobby Meacham

On Monday it was announced that Bobby Meacham will manage the International League at the 2019 Triple-A All-Star Game next month. Meacham is the first Bisons manager to receive the honor since Marty Brown in 2005, and the fourth to manage in the game as well.

Jordan Patterson

1B Jordan Patterson was the source of power for the Bisons offense as he hit two home runs to take the team lead with seven on the year. He also drove in six RBI's, bringing his total to 23 this season, as he went 2-3 and adding onto his team leading 32 runs scored.

Richard Ureña

INF Richard Ureña went 3-5 on the day with three singles and an RBI-groundout in the third. This brings his RBI total to an even 20 on the year. Ureña also managed to steal a base for the second time this year in the Bisons' winning effort.

Blue Jays Update

Toronto (26-46) dropped the first game of their four-game series with the Los Angeles Angles last night 10-5. Cavan Biggio sparked the Blue Jays' offense as he went 2-2 with two walks as he had his second two-home run game in the past week. They square off again tonight at the Rogers Centre with a 7:07 p.m. EST first pitch.
