Berube Reassigned to Trenton

ALBANY, N.Y. - Left-winger Jean-Sebastien Berube has been reassigned by the New Jersey Devils (NHL) from Albany (AHL) to Trenton (ECHL). The announcement was made by Albany and Trenton General Manager Chris Lamoriello.

Berube made his second stint in the AHL this season when he was reassigned to Albany on Feb. 11. During that span, he played in 10 games, posting a pair of assists. He registered his first career AHL point with an assist at Springfield on Feb. 25 and, most recently, had a helper at Adirondack on Mar. 6. Berube has totaled 17 games for Albany this season. The first-year pro returns to Trenton where he has played 33 games, registering 10 goals and 12 assists.

Berube, a native of Matane, Quebec, was drafted by New Jersey 205th overall (seventh round) in 2008. Prior to joining the Devils, he played four seasons for Rouyn-Noranda of the QMJHL. He had 54 goals and 51 assists in 232 games.
