Crunch Announce Details of Plumley Engineering 'Saves for Charity' Program

Syracuse, NY (March 9, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today the details of the Plumley Engineering 'Saves for Charity' program.

At a designated number of home games from now until the end of the 2010-11 regular season, the Crunch and Plumley Engineering will team up to benefit Tennis for the Cure, a charity tennis tournament that will help raise funds for a treatment room at the new Upstate University Hospital Oncology Center.

Plumley Engineering will donate $25 to Tennis for the Cure for every save a Crunch goaltender makes in the second period of each pre-determined home game.

The Crunch return home on Friday, March 11 to battle Texas at 7:30 p.m. at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena. Season and single-game tickets for the 2010-11 season are on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444, or by stopping by the Crunch office at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena, located at 800 South State Street in downtown Syracuse.
