Canucks Re-Assign Oreskovich to Moose

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, today announced they have re-assigned forward Victor Oreskovich to the Moose.

Oreskovich, 24, has appeared in 34 games for the Moose this season with 11 points (4g, 7a) and 31 penalty minutes. Oreskovich scored in his first game with the Moose on Oct. 8/10 @ Peoria. The Whitby, ON native was recalled for the second time this season on Mar. 7/11 before playing one game against Phoenix on Mar. 8/11 in which he collected two penalty minutes. During his first recall to the Canucks this season, he played in eight games, recording an assist and two penalty minutes. In his pro career, Oreskovich has played 59 NHL games with Vancouver and Florida in which he has recorded seven points (2g, 5a) and 30 penalty minutes. He has played in 68 career AHL games with Rochester and Manitoba where he has 26 points (10g, 16a) and 49 penalty minutes.

Oreskovich was originally drafted by Colorado in the second round, 55th overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
