B-Sens Recall Forward Yannick Tifu from Elmira

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have recalled forward Yannick Tifu from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL on an emergency basis.

This is Tifu's fourth recall to the B-Sens this season. The 26 year-old forward was last recalled from Elmira on March 1. In seven games with the B-Sens the Brossard, Que. native has one point (an assist).

The 5-11, 185-pound Tifu has appeared in 53 games with Elmira this season. He currently ranks second overall on the Jackals in scoring with 65 points (22 goals, 43 assists), has amassed 91 penalty minutes and leads the team in plus-minus with plus-14.

The B-Sens are back in action tonight as they take on the Admirals in Norfolk at 7:15 p.m. Fans can listen live on 680 WINR-AM or 1430 WENE-AM beginning 30 minutes before game time for Countdown to Faceoff with Grady Whittenburg, the voice of the B-Sens.
