Wild Recalls Scandella

HOUSTON --- Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled defenseman Marco Scandella from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Scandella, 21 (2/23/90), has notched two assists and two penalty minutes (PIM) in 16 games with the Wild this season. This marks his third recall this season. He made his NHL debut Nov. 12 at Florida. The 6-foot-3, 217-pound native of Montreal, Quebec, has recorded 19 points (3-16=19) and 17 PIM in 33 games with the Aeros. Scandella was originally selected by Minnesota in the second round (No. 55 overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
