Belleville Senators News Release
BELLEVILLE, ON - The Belleville Senators are happy to inform fans that the team has been cleared by provincial authorities to host a full capacity crowd at CAA Arena for the 2021-22 American Hockey League season. While the Belleville Sens do have one preseason home game remaining, the new capacity limit will be in effect for the Home Opener presented by CAA South Central Ontario, on Saturday October 16, 2021, against the Laval Rocket.
Fans attending Belleville Sens games at CAA Arena will still need to provide proof of full vaccination, with the final dose administered no sooner than 14 days before the date of the event. Children under 12 years of age will be exempted from these requirements. Mask wearing will also be mandatory unless fans are actively eating or drinking. Some other areas of CAA Arena and the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre may be subject to reduced capacity requirements.
"We're thrilled with today's announcement," said Senators owner and governor Eugene Melnyk. "On behalf of the organization, I want to thank the many government officials with whom we've liaised extensively, including Premier Doug Ford, to reach this point while assuring our fans that we'll continue to remain cautious and take all preventative measures to guarantee individuals' collective safety when at our building."
The Belleville Sens are also excited to announce that single game tickets for the 2021-22 season will go on sale Tuesday October 12, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. ET via Ticketmaster or by appointment at the CAA Arena Box Office. Fans hoping to make an appointment should email Cody Hall (hallc@bellevillesens.com).
Fans can also purchase Season Ticket Memberships or Flex Packages, through the Belleville Sens website, or box office.
